LAP KING
Lap King is a platformer inspired by Pizza Tower lap mods. Loop around for as many times as you can while bad things start to happen!
You can move with the arrow keys and press space to jump. You can also hold shift to run, allowing for climbing up walls.
Get to the black top of the world to initiate another lap! Although, a timer is constantly ticking down to the end of your run. Refill it by completing another lap! Triangles will also try and ruin your way up once you get to ten laps and beyond. Touching them decreases your power meter, and once it hits zero, your run is over!
Every time you play, the faster you go, the more time you get, and the slower the enemies are! See how far you can get!
This was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2025. I could of made it a lot bigger in the time I had, but oh well :)

I like this games idea and game design. As a pizza tower fan. I really love this game even though pizza tower looked like an old game to me. I would recommend!
The game concept is pretty good, but the shift is too OP! The game is just too easy.

The missed potential is insane. I might continue upgrading the idea, who knows :)
